Penerapan Bimbingan Sosial Dalam Meningkatkan Percaya Diri Remaja Tuna Daksa di UPT Rehabilitasi Sosial Bina Daksa Pasuruan

This research was motivated by a lack of self-confidence in disabled people, especially in their physical condition. Therefore, social guidance can help increase the self-confidence of disabled teenagers at the Bina Daksa Pasuruan Social Rehabilitation UPT. The formulation of the problem in this research is: (1) How is the application of social guidance in increasing self-confidence in disabled adolescents at the Bina Daksa Social Rehabilitation UPT Pasuruan, (2) What causes disabled adolescents to feel less confident at the Bina Daksa Social Rehabilitation UPT Pasuruan, (3) What solutions are provided to overcome the lack of self-confidence among disabled teenagers at the Bina Daksa Pasuruan Social Rehabilitation UPT. This research is qualitative research with a descriptive analysis type. Data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation. Then the data was analyzed using the theories of Miles, Huberman and Saldana. The validity of the data uses source triangulation and method triangulation. The results of the research obtained are: Due to the lack of self-confidence in disabled teenagers, the Bina Daksa Pasuruan Social Rehabilitation UPT helps increase self-confidence through social guidance activities using guidance methods in the form of group discussions, group dynamics and play therapy groups. The reason disabled teenagers feel less confident is generally because their physical condition is different from others, while there are also internal factors because they don't get support, encouragement and motivation from their families. Meanwhile, external factors include bullying from social media and a lack of self-acceptance in their surrounding environment. There are solutions provided to overcome a lack of self-confidence, namely by providing emotional social support, encouragement and motivation, accepting their presence, helping them to develop their interests, talents, inviting and telling them how to socialize well in order to get good relationships. also
