Peran Pendamping dalam Pencapaian Prestasi Non Akademik Penyandang Disabilitas di National Paralympic Committee On Indonesia (NPCI) Kabupaten Jember

Learning achievment is a business success achieved by someone after gaining learning experience in achieving teaching. We can get education anywhere, Of course you can at school, at Islamic boarding school, at community, at family environment, and at community environment. However, basic education will be obtained in the family environment. Therefore, the family has an important role in building a relationship in the wider society. The focus of the problem studied in this thesis is 1) What is the role of assistants in achieving non-academic achievements for persons with disabilities in National Paralympic Committe Of Indonesia Jember, 2) What are the obstacles to the role of assistants in achieving non-academic achievements for people with disabilities in National Paralympic Committe Of Indonesia Jember. To identify the problem, This researcher uses a qualitative approach with the type of descriptive research. The subjects of this study were determined by purposive sampling. Research locations in the organization National Paralympic Committe of Indonesia Jember. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques are data condensation steps, data presentation, conclusion drawing. The validity of this research uses triangulation techniques, namely source triangulation and technical triangulation. This research concludes: 1) Parents and coaches as companions have a very important role in the self-development process of persons with disabilities, so that people with disabilities are able to achieve non-academic achievements in National Paralympic Committe Of Indonesia Jember, 2) Obstacles in achieving non-academic achievements of persons with disabilities are limited communication, limited vision, training techniques, ineffective time, and unavailable training places.
